About Our Crew

A bit of a motley crew really… I, Ana do most the cooking but have unlimited support, ideas, recipes and backup in my hubby Todd and my paly Luz.

Todd and I have lived in MX for a bit more than five years, relative newbies to many expats out there;-) We started near the border in Rosarito, living there for a few years. The real adventure came when we sailed to La Paz from San Diego in 2021. We have been here ever since. We so enjoy La Paz, the people, the calmness (peace no?). Here’s hoping the developers don’t wreck it.

We met Luz shortly after our arrival here. What a tough cookie this lady is. She has family here in La Paz and returned after living some 15 years in the states. I would love to have her more, she’s just too darn busy!

When we get together, we cook. Share our appreciation for food and tastes as well as recipes and techniques. She has taught me so much about the MX style of cooking. Skills she learned from her grandmother. I feel lucky to have her input.

While our menu is dominated by MX tastes right now, not all of our dishes coming soon will be. On deck items include:

  • Bahn Mi Bites to full Bahn Mi Sandwiches available with pork, chicken or tofu.
  • Jerk Chicken with Pineapple, Caribbean BBQ sauce.
  • Tasty Falafel Hummus salad, pickled vegetable and sauce.
